We’re planning an innovative and sustainable new Helensburgh Community Centre and Library.
Community feedback has shaped the vision for a vibrant, accessible and flexible facility overlooking local bushland. Across formal engagements starting in 2017, as well as meetings and input from local community groups, residents have called for energy-efficient design, eco-friendly materials, and spaces for cultural, educational and recreational activities, alongside improved accessibility and transport links.
The purpose of this page is to share the highlights of our many conversations with community since 2017 and host opportunities for the community to tell us their thoughts. The Helensburgh Community Centre and Library project page on Council's website is the main source of current project information. It's where you'll find information about the location, the designs, Frequently Asked Questions and the latest news.
We’re looking forward to delivering a new facility that reflects local values and future aspirations.
